Andrew is responsible for identifying farmers, originating land deals and deploying capital to realize our organic specialty crop investment strategy in the Western US.

Before joining SLM Partners, Andrew has held various roles in agricultural finance for over a decade. Most recently, Andrew was a portfolio manager at a Farm Credit Association, where he led a team of loan officers and focused on market presence, approving lending actions and generating risk-adjusted returns. Previously, he worked as a lender focused on loan origination, underwriting, and relationship management at both Farm Credit and MetLife Ag Investments. Andrew has financed operations across California, Oregon and Arizona, with experience in tree nuts, row crops, vineyard, dairy and cow-calf operations. Coming from many generations of California farmers, Andrew has a passion for agriculture and environmental preservation, and serves in various volunteer capacities for wetland conservation non-profits.

Andrew has a BS in Applied Economics and Management, with specializations in Agribusiness and Finance, from Cornell University and is a CFA charter holder. Andrew currently serves on the board of the California Waterfowl Association.
