Here he was involved in roles through the complete resource cycle, beginning in harvesting (130,000 tonnes) through to establishment operations (300 hectares), and then into resource planning. He also undertook projects on restock site mulching, brash bundling and drone capabilities. Before his move into forestry he worked in traditional wooden shipbuilding in Cornwall.
Christopher has a first class Honours degree in BSc Forestry from Bangor University, Wales. He has completed the Irish Management Institute graduate development programme. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters, and was a Technical Member of the Society of Irish Foresters.
