Julie is part of our North America team and is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the accounting, finance and governance functions for US farmland investments.

Before joining SLM Partners, Julie was the Vice President for Accounting & Finance for the Natural Resources portfolio of the Harvard University Endowment. There she managed and reviewed financial and valuation information from investment partners globally and integrated the results and data into the Endowment reporting to senior management and the Finance and Compensation Committee. Prior to her experience at Harvard, Julie was an Assistant Controller with the Hancock Natural Resource Group (now Manulife) leading a team that produced financial reporting and investment returns for the timber investment portfolio. Julie’s previous professional experience was in accounting and finance at mutual fund companies and a hedge fund.

Julie has a BS in Accounting from Providence College.  She served on the National Council of Real Estate Investors and Fiduciaries (NCREIF) Timberland Committee for several years and was Vice-Chair from 2011 to 2013.
